One of the options for replacing missing teeth in an edentulous patient is the realization of an overdenture over implants.
This type of prosthesis uses different types of retentions to anchor the prostheses to the implants placed in the patient’s bone.
There are different types of retentions, such as bars, balls, locator, o-ring etc, which can be set to a different number of implants.
This type of prosthesis can be removed by the patient to hygienize them and easily replace them.
