Description

Guided bone regeneration, a procedure used to regenerate the necessary bone volume for a correct implant placement. It is shown how small perforations are made in the bone, which will allow a correct vascularization of the graft. Next, screws are placed to keep the space that can be filled with biomaterials. Subsequently, a membrane is placed over the graft that will allow bone remodeling and prevent soft tissue from penetrating and preventing bone regeneration. After 4-6 months, bone will have formed.
